Where is my data stored?

Events and tasks in Apple Calendar and Reminders, in the accounts you have set up on your device. NerveDay's notes, attachments and settings in your own private iCloud. We have no access to it and we run no servers.

Why does NerveDay ask for Calendar, Reminders and Contacts?

Calendar and Reminders are what it works with: it shows and edits your events and tasks right in Apple's apps. It only reads Contacts, for birthdays and anniversaries on Today and for the call and message buttons next to people you mention as @name. None of it is sent anywhere. If you decline, the app keeps working and you can allow access later in iOS Settings.

Does the app work without Plus?

Yes. Your day, calendar, tasks and notes, including iCloud sync, are free; on iPhone and iPad with an ad banner, never on the Today screen. Plus removes ads and adds meeting links, note sharing, custom color schemes and, on the Mac, meetings in the menu bar and the Mail extension.

Do notes sync between iPhone, iPad and Mac?

Yes, through your iCloud, when all devices are signed in with the same Apple Account. Events and tasks are synced by the system itself.

How do I export my notes?

Settings → Backup and export → Export all notes… You get a folder of Markdown files with attachments. In the same place you can turn on a weekly backup, optionally encrypted with a password.

How do I undo deleting an event or a task?

Tap Undo right after deleting; you have 5 seconds. After that, the deletion in Calendar and Reminders is permanent.

How do I change my ad consent?

Settings → Ad privacy (shown in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland). Ads in NerveDay are never personalized.

How do I report a bug?

Write to apps@techwizards.cz about what happened. If the app shows an error with a code, tap Copy diagnostics in Settings and paste it into the email; it contains only the code and versions, never the text of your notes.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

In the app: Settings → NerveDay Plus → Restore Purchases.

How do I cancel the subscription?

iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions; on the Mac, App Store → your account → Subscriptions. While Plus is active, the Manage Subscription button in Settings → NerveDay Plus takes you there too.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

Events and tasks stay in Calendar and Reminders. Notes stay in your iCloud until you delete them in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → NerveDay.
