    Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026. Operator: Frantisek Vitvar, Nepomucka 7, 150 00 Prague, Czechia. Contact: apps@techwizards.cz.

    In short

NerveDay has no server and no user account. Your events, tasks, contacts and notes stay on your device and in your iCloud. The operator has no access to them and collects nothing about you. The only exception is Google advertising in the free version for iPhone and iPad (see below).

    Calendar and Reminders

With your permission, NerveDay shows and edits events in Apple Calendar and tasks in Apple Reminders. It reaches them only through the system (iOS, iPadOS, macOS). The accounts that hold your calendars and lists (iCloud, Google, Exchange…) are managed by the system; NerveDay never connects to them. What you create in NerveDay stays in Calendar and Reminders even after you delete it. Some extras (subtasks, tags, contexts) are stored in the notes field of the event or reminder.

    Contacts

If you allow it, NerveDay reads Contacts to show birthdays and anniversaries on Today and to let you call or message the people you mention in a task as @name. It only reads Contacts, never changes them and sends them nowhere.

    iCloud

Notes, their attachments and NerveDay's settings sync through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) and iCloud key-value storage; your own order of tasks is kept there too. This data is handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/) and the operator of NerveDay cannot see it. A shared note (NerveDay Plus) is visible only to the people you invite.

    Notifications and Live Activity

Alerts for events and tasks and the ongoing event on your Lock Screen are scheduled by NerveDay on your device. No remote (push) messages are sent for them.

    Photos, camera, Face ID

A photo you pick as the Today wallpaper or put into a note is stored only by NerveDay (the wallpaper on your device, note attachments in your iCloud). The camera is used only to scan documents when you ask for it. Face ID or Touch ID only unlocks the app (if you turn the lock on) and locked notes; biometric data is handled solely by the system and NerveDay never sees it.

    Maps

For an event with a location, NerveDay shows a map. To do so, the address is turned into coordinates by Apple Maps (processed by Apple under its policy).

    Backups and export

NerveDay saves backups and exports only to a folder you choose, optionally encrypted with your password (AES-256). The password is never stored or sent; without it, nobody can open the backup.

Advertising (iPhone and iPad only, not with NerveDay Plus)

The free version for iPhone and iPad shows a non-personalized ad banner served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited). There are no ads on the Today screen, in widgets, in extensions or on the Mac. To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google processes device information (identifier for vendor, model and system version), approximate location derived from the IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data. We receive none of it and have no access to it, and no content you enter into NerveDay is ever used for advertising. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, NerveDay asks for your consent before the first ad (Google User Messaging Platform); you can change that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy. NerveDay does not track you across apps and websites and does not ask for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency). With a NerveDay Plus subscription or purchase, no ad component is loaded and Google receives nothing. Google describes its own processing in the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and in how Google uses information from partner apps (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

    Purchases

You buy NerveDay Plus through the App Store. Payment is processed by Apple; NerveDay only learns whether a purchase is valid, never your payment details or Apple Account.

    Diagnostics

When an error occurs, you can copy the diagnostics in Settings and send them yourself by e-mail to apps@techwizards.cz. They contain only the error code, the app and system versions and the device model, never note text, event titles or names. You send the e-mail from your own mail account, and it is used only to fix the error.

    Sharing with third parties

Nothing you enter into NerveDay – events, tasks, contacts, notes, attachments – is shared with anyone. Apart from the calendar and reminder accounts managed by the system, the app connects to exactly two parties. Apple: iCloud (your notes and settings, and note sharing you set up yourself), App Store purchases, and Apple Maps for an event's location map. Google (Google Ireland Limited), in the free version on iPhone and iPad only: the advertising described above. With NerveDay Plus, Apple is the only one. Both are bound by their own published privacy policies.

    Children

NerveDay is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Your rights and deleting your data

Because the operator does not hold your data, it cannot hand it over, correct or delete it for you; it is fully under your control. Delete NerveDay's data by deleting the app and in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → NerveDay. Your events and reminders stay in Calendar and Reminders. For data Google processes for advertising, you can contact Google. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz/en).

    Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Significant changes are announced in the app's release notes.
